Julia Weiden is a meteorologist with nearly a decade of on-air forecasting experience. She has appeared on network television including ABC (America This Morning; World News Now) and Fox News (America’s News HQ; Your World with Neil Cavuto). She frequently provides feature reports for The AccuWeather Network and AccuWeather.com.
Julia was the Weekday Morning Meteorologist for the NBC and Fox affiliates in Jackson, MS where she honed her severe weather forecasting skills. Her career began at WSYR in Syracuse, NY, forecasting challenging lake effect snow events.
Julia earned her Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Science from Cornell University, the only Ivy League institution with an undergraduate program in meteorology.
